EPISODE OVERVIEW
Practical Tips for Becoming a Better Steward of Your Health
Lose the “All or Nothing” Mindset – We don’t give up on our salvation if we miss a day of Bible reading or prayer, but that’s often what we do when we fall off the wagon with our diet. Play the long game. Focus on developing intentionally healthy habits over time.
Don’t Make Light of Being Healthy – As a leader, you should be creating a culture of healthy living for your people to follow. Instead of making jokes about your poor habits, set an example by working toward a healthier lifestyle.
Get Accountable – Don’t allow yourself to be isolated in your quest for wellness. Find a community group that will support your journey to a healthier you.
Find an Exercise Routine You Enjoy – You don’t have to lift weights or run on the treadmill. There are lots of ways to get fit, so find an option that works for you, and stick to it.
Dial in Your Nutrition – Movement is essential, but if your goal is to lose weight, diet is more important than anything else. What you eat accounts for 87% of your overall well-being.

Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” Many people are bound and even dying because of a lack of knowledge of God’s Word concerning healing. The Bible is full of scriptures concerning healing and health, and this course from Christian Life School of Theology Global explains how to apply these truths to our lives.
